Dental Disease in Your Pet
Just like people our pets need to have good oral care to keep the teeth and gums healthy throughout their life.
Dental disease affects many cats and dogs causing pain, bad breath, a build up of yellow tartar, inflamed gums (gingivitis), bleeding gums, tooth loss, loss of appetite, grumpy behaviour and dribbling. If left untreated, the bacteria and toxins produced by dental disease can lead to kidney, liver and heart disease.
